Beverly Hills Housewives Talk S2 Premiere

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" stars Adrienne Maloof, Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump appear on the Today Show to discuss the controversial season premiere and the depiction of Russell Armstrong, the husband of one of their cast members, who recently committed suicide.

For the first time since the suicide of Russell Armstrong, three of the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" (Adrienne Maloof, Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump) and show executive producer Douglas Ross sat down with TODAY's Savannah Guthrie for a sobering interview about the suicide and its aftereffects.

The second season of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" premieres tonight at 9 p.m., and will be preceded by a short interview with most of the "Housewives" commenting on the suicide.

Kyle Richards: RHOBH Trailer Was "Mild"

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is returning for it's second season next month and Bravo just released the scandalous trailer. Well, Kyle Richards may disagree that the trailer wasn't all that scandalous at all. She chatted with LimeLife at NBCUniveral's Press event earlier this week:

"That doesn't even put a dent in it," she said. "I was thinking, of all of the things they could have pulled -- they used the mild stuff. I guess they didn't want to overwhelm everyone."

"There's been a lot of shift in the dynamic," she goes on to say. "I've gotten to know the girls even better. Some of them at the beginning I knew better than others. Now we all know each other inside and out but the dynamics do shift throughout the season. People that you would be surprised to side with and not speaking and going back and forth. That's definitely prevalent this season."

"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" Season Two!

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are returning for a second season on September 5th -- with not one but TWO new cast members to bring the drama!

Joining Adrienne Maloof, Kyle Richards, Taylor Armstrong, Lisa Vanderpump, Kim Richards, and Camille Grammer are model Brandi Glanville and businesswoman Dana Wilkey.

These new additions will be featured as friends of the original six (Brandi is a friend of Adrienne while Dana is a friend of Taylor), not official Housewives.

Kyle Helping Taylor 'Have Some Fun' Post-Split

Even though Taylor Armstrong has just split from her hubby Russell Armstrong, she's getting by thanks to her friends including Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Kyle Richards.

"I've been trying to get her to go out and have some fun," Kyle told PEOPLE Magazine. "I've seen her a lot lately. I love Taylor, and I know she's going through a hard time right now. I'm just being there as a friend."

In the end, Richards knows she'll be just fine. "She's going to pull through," she says. "She's a beautiful girl, she's a smart girl; she'll get through it."

Regarding Taylor's daughter, Kyle says, "she's doing great. She's kind of oblivious to what's going on."

Kyle: "Kelsey Needs To Leave Camille Alone"

In a bizarre turn of events, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards is defending her archenemy Camille Grammer.

In an exclusive interview with RumorFix, Kyle says she's taking Camille's side in her custody battle against ex-husband, Kelsey Grammer.

"I think he's done enough damage," Kyle tells RumorFix, "He needs to leave her alone now."

According to TMZ, Kelsey wants to split his two children with Camille -- taking his son to live with him and his new wife in Chicago, and leaving his daughter to live with her mother in California. Camille is fighting for custody of both kids.

Kyle, who has four children of her own, tells us, "They belong with their mom. I'm with her on this."

Kyle Richards Gets "Real" On "20/20" Tonight

Kyle Richards, a member of the cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, told "20/20" that she wasn't prepared for the deeply personal moments that wound up on the show.

She said she regrets the infamous fight she had with her sister, castmate Kim Richards, in the back of a limousine. "It definitely damaged our relationship for a while, but we're good now," she said.

Kyle Richards: Thank God For Our Husbands

On the first season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, five lovely ladies proved that crazy girl drama doesn’t end in high school. Hurt feelings erupted into backstabbing, lying, and cat fights — even breaking bonds between sisters! Kyle Richards told us that the only way to combat “girl drama” is with a little testosterone.

“There’s too much drama without the husbands around. The husbands keep the drama to a minimum,” Kyle, 42, told Hollywood Life exclusively at Azure Luxury Pool at The Palazzo in Las Vegas April 10.

Guys don’t tend to be as sensitive as women are and don’t play into the gossipy and cliquish behavior of which women of all ages are guilty. We’re glad the husbands of our favorite Los Angeles ladies keep them grounded.
