Marysol Patton Talks Elsa and the Reunion

Remember the days when being a housewife was a bad thing? Now we all know now that being a housewife is all you need to get on TV and also make a ton of cash. One of our favorites, Marysol Patton, isn't actually a housewife at all but maven of PR powerhouse, The Patton Group.

Since her debut on Real Housewives of Miami, Patton has quickly become a fan favorite. Not only does she not gossip like she's a 15-year-old, but her mother has more charisma than the whole cast combined. We caught up with Marysol at Lea Black's gala. Read how her expectations for the live reunion matched up with the train wreck that went down.

New Times: We have to start with the fact that we adore your mother, Elsa. Has anyone approached you to do a spinoff show?

Marysol Patton: No, no one has...yet.

Are you surprised by the national treasure your mom has become?

People have ALWAYS loved my mom. She has had a huge celebrity following for, like, 20 years. She doesn't think anything of it. But I'm just used to people loving her, and hanging on to every word she says. It's just her being herself.

How did you think you were portrayed on the show?

I think I was portrayed well. I was 100 percent myself and that showed. I don't really make fun of people, so they maybe wished for more of that, but that's not really my thing. I would rather make fun of myself than anyone else.

​If Bravo offered you guys another season, would you do it?

I would love to.

Are you going to want to get anything off your chest at the reunion?

Um, we will see what they ask me. If they ask me something that is really bothering me, I'll be honest.

Do you think any ladies will get fiesty? Cristy Rice and Larsa Pippen seem to keep to themselves.

We're too educated for that. We need a little bit more street girls for that.

Marysol Patton: First Look At Her Aspen Wedding

Yes, Real Housewives of Miami fans, Marysol Patton went through with her Winter Wonderland wedding and Zap2it has the first look at the blushing bride's exclusive wedding photos in Life & Style.

"I was freaking out!" the 44-year-old tells the magazine about planning the wedding in only five days. "But on our wedding day, a sense of peace came over me."

The PR gal, wearing a gown by designer Angel Sanchez, and Frenchman Philippe Pautesta-Herder, 34, eloped in Aspen, Colo. on March 25, 2010. And, the housewife says it was a dream come true.

"We rushed so we wouldn't miss the snow," Marysol says. "I always wanted a winter wedding!"

Meet 'Miami Housewife' Marysol Patton's Fiance

In a preview for tonight’s premiere of the Real Housewives of Miami, PR maven Marysol Patton discusses her relationship with a Frenchman by the name of Philippe with her outspoken mother Elsa. The conversation progresses to the topic of sex which makes Marysol a little uncomfortable. With a little prodding Miss Patton states that this Philippe is:

“Fantastic in every way and that’s as far as I’m going with this conversation mother.”

In the series preview video released by Bravo we are shown this fantastic French lover proposing to Miss Patton with a huge ring. She says yes and in a recent promotional interview with NBC 6 out of Miami Marysol stated that she is, “still working on her engagement.”

After doing a little digging, Darren of Starcasm was able to dig up the identity and some bio info for this mystery man in Marysol’s life, Mr. Philippe Pautesta.

Pautesta has recently started a Twitter page in which, as of this post, he’s only followed by 5 people one of them being Marysol of course. Fab-Philippe is only following two people with one of them being his bride-to-be Patton. His Twitter account has a link to a PHP Enterprises USA and it is here where we get some solid background information on the Frenchman rocking Marysol’s world.

In the History section under Gourmand at Home Catering it says of the business and Philippe that:

“Gourmand at Home” is a catering and event planning service created by Philippe Pautesta-Herder. After spending years in Manhattan working in the Restaurant Business, Event Production and Landscape Design (With Cole Creates owned by Rebecca Cole from the TV show “Surprised By Design”), Philippe moved to Miami in 2004 and started PHP consulting, a boutique restaurant consulting firm.

In 2007 PHP Enterprises USA was born and expanded to catering consulting. Philippe then decided to combine his knowledge of the Food industry and his experience in production, and created “Gourmond at Home” a combination of fine dining and event planning.

Sounds like we have ourselves a match made in PR, consulting, catering and reality TV heaven! But then again the two are “still working on their engagement” according to Patton. You think theses two would have the planning part of that whole deal covered!
