Real Housewives of Miami Season 2 Confirmed

Wednesday, Alexia Echevarria, along with her husband, appeared at Lucky Strike Lanes in Miami Beach to celebrate the launch of Sean John's new fragrance Empress.

Celebuzz has confirmed that she has officially signed on for Real Housewives of Miami season 2 -- which I didn't even know to be happening. She tweeted to fans, "Dear Followers, Yes, #RHOM2 is coming back but there is going to be some BIG changes and that's all I can say...... so Stay tuned!"

After some digging I found out that it is likely everyone but Larsa Pippen will return. The reason she won't be back is because she is not a Miami resident.

"Real Housewives of Miami" Season 2?

Mama Elsa rejoice! Even though the Real Housewives of Miami wasn't exactly the best of the franchise, there are rumors that it will still return for a second season -- with some tweaks of course.

Sources say that they have switched producers and casting agents in an effort to gain a better fan base. So you know what that means... we might loose a few, or a gain a few, or both!

Bravo is staying quiet on what - if anything - is happening saying, "We haven't made any announcements regarding a second season."

Re-casting definitely isn't uncommon with the Real Housewives franchise, let's remember Vicki Gunvalson is the only original cast member left in OC and NJ just replaced nearly half it's cast.

Adriana de Moura Disses New York Housewives

We'll get to the possibility that Real Housewives of Miami will be renewed for another season in a moment. But first you gotta hear what one of the South Florida gals is saying about her New York counterparts.

Adriana De Moura-Sidi is not a fan of the Big Apple installment of Bravo's hit franchise. But it wasn't always that way...

De Moura-Sidi misses the Skinnygirl Margarita princess. "Bethenny Frankel was my favorite," De Moura-Sidi told Marc Malkin and Michael Yo in Miami at the Billboard Latin Music Awards. "I don't think it's the same without her. I think it's a bunch of matronly women trying to look hot."

As for RHOM coming back for a second season, De Moura-Sidi didn't pull an "I don't know" or "I can't comment."

Instead, she said with a smile, "We can't officially say it yet, but I'm pretty sure...I'm pretty confident..."

Joe Francis On RHOM: They're "Train Wrecks"

http://thumbnails.hulu.com/481/50128481/245866_512x288_generated.jpg

Joe Francis recently did an interview with of the Miami New Times. Here's what he had to say about the Miami Housewives:

What do you think about Real Housewives of Miami -- did you watch any of this season?

I did! I watched every episode. I loved watching the show. I was in episode two! I have a reality show too, so I know how this all works. People like to watch these types of shows because the woman are train wrecks. Lea Black is such a great person and so normal.

So what about Real Housewives of Miami: normal or train wrecks?

Lea--She is very sophisticated and a beautiful woman. The rest of the cast? Train wrecks.

Marysol Patton Talks Elsa and the Reunion

http://img.poptower.com/pic-44282/marysol-patton.jpg?d=600Remember the days when being a housewife was a bad thing? Now we all know now that being a housewife is all you need to get on TV and also make a ton of cash. One of our favorites, Marysol Patton, isn't actually a housewife at all but maven of PR powerhouse, The Patton Group.

Since her debut on Real Housewives of Miami, Patton has quickly become a fan favorite. Not only does she not gossip like she's a 15-year-old, but her mother has more charisma than the whole cast combined. We caught up with Marysol at Lea Black's gala. Read how her expectations for the live reunion matched up with the train wreck that went down.

New Times: We have to start with the fact that we adore your mother, Elsa. Has anyone approached you to do a spinoff show?
Marysol Patton: No, no one has...yet.

Are you surprised by the national treasure your mom has become?
People have ALWAYS loved my mom. She has had a huge celebrity following for, like, 20 years. She doesn't think anything of it. But I'm just used to people loving her, and hanging on to every word she says. It's just her being herself.

How did you think you were portrayed on the show?
I think I was portrayed well. I was 100 percent myself and that showed. I don't really make fun of people, so they maybe wished for more of that, but that's not really my thing. I would rather make fun of myself than anyone else.

If Bravo offered you guys another season, would you do it?
I would love to.

Are you going to want to get anything off your chest at the reunion?
Um, we will see what they ask me. If they ask me something that is really bothering me, I'll be honest.

Do you think any ladies will get fiesty? Cristy Rice and Larsa Pippen seem to keep to themselves.
We're too educated for that. We need a little bit more street girls for that.

Alexia Echeverria In A Big Fight With Hubby

http://www-hollywoodlife-com.vimg.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/040411_alexia_echevarria_XXXX_111503426110404142823.jpg

Alexia Echeverria has a problem with how her husband Herman insists on spending his money. The Real Housewives of Miami star had it out with him at her co-star Lea Black’s annual gala for the Juvenile Services Department of Miami on April 2 at the Eden Roc Renaissance in Miami Beach.

Sources tell Hollywood Life they were fighting because Herman wouldn’t stop bidding on diamonds — seriously?!

If Alexia doesn’t want Herman — we’ll take him! Our source added that Alexia kept telling Herman she “didn’t need anymore diamonds” — can a girl ever have enough? Instead, Herman and Alexia walked away with a weekend at Joe Francis‘ home in Mexico that cost them a whopping $20,000. Um, hanging at the Girls Gone Wild guy’s house, or an incredible bracelet … is that even a question?
